Celebrating All Who Work
Let’s bring back the true meaning of the Labor Day holiday by literally “singing the praises” of everyone who works. Bill will be joined by musical friends Phil Hart and Teresa Schleifer. In addition to the uplifting music, we’ll review a few key events in labor union struggles from decades ago that brought us reforms like the minimum wage and workplace safety improvements, lovers.

Spirit of the 1960's Coffeehouse
Take a musical trip back to the turbulent 1960’s. Bill will trace the history of the decade with serious songs, compelling video and photos, and displays of sixties memorabilia. The Memories of the Vietnam war, civil rights protests, political assassinations, the hippies, and the early Women’s Liberation and gay rights movement swill flow freely. Plus we’ll have fun with 1960’s trivia and far-out fashions. Special guest musicians will add extra harmonies and sparkle.

Songs of Gratitude
As an alternative to the Black Friday buying frenzy, join Bill and musical friends Joe Lambert, Joanne Blum , David Maywhoor, and Ann Fisher as they remind us of the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Each song will focus on something we might be grateful for: family, friends, freedom, food, music, nature, and memories. Plus humorous stories and wise sayings about gratitude.

Winter Solstice Concert
On the darkest weekend of the year with the least amount of daylight, Bill, Joanne Blum, and Joe Lambert will sing songs that acknowledge the darkness (literal and figurative) around us…..and look to the New Year and its possibilities for brighter times ahead. We’ll pose the question: What will be hope for, pray for, and work for? The answers: community, peace, kindness, memories, empathy, and the freedom to be our authentic selves.
